Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer, human rights advocate and charity philanthropist. Graduate of Oxford University School of Law as well as New York University School of Law. Amal Clooney is a star of an extensive and long-running profession as an internationally renowned lawyer and an philanthropist. Some of her most prominent clients include several nation-states including the country of Armenia in its fight to be recognized as the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney became engaged to and later married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a household name in pop culture. Prior to this she was respected and well-known within the legal community due to her accomplishments and ability to represent clients. From tackling human and social rights issues, to representing several multi-national corporations in their court actions and negotiations over government regulations. Since 2015 she worked as a barrister at British Court in Doughty Street Chambers.
